Light is often taken for granted. We spend 90% of our time indoor, but the light we surround us with all this time is not something we consider when designing new buildings or just refurnishing our homes.
Luckily, you got a friend in us – we have considered the importance of light for you and implemented it in our products to make sure, that at least one product in your home does the light justice.
When you are looking a mirror, the light has a huge influence in, how your reflection looks. In a poor light, you will look a bit more greyish and dull, while you in a good light with a high CRI-value will look like you actually will do outside in the sun – with bright and natural colours.
The good light
lets the body experience a natural transistion from day to night
At LS Lifestyle you can find a variety of cool mirrors with even colour options. However, the feature we are most proud of is our MultiWhite light. Here, we have drawn inspiration from nature and the suns natural colour spectrum during the day. When the sun rises it starts in a warm white light and gradually it becomes brighter and colder until the evening where the light again switches to a warm and calming light.
You body is naturally responding to this kind of colour change – when the light is cool and bright you body know that it must be awake and stay focused and when the light is warm your body relaxes and prepares for the night.
We have used this natural cycle and has mimicked the suns colour temperature in our mirrors with MultiWhite. With these mirrors you can control the colour temperature. You can for example make the light bright and cool in the morning when you need to wake up your body and prepare it for the day, and you can change the colour temperature back to a warm colour in the evening while brushing your teeth and preparing your body to go to sleep.

We have a long tradition of supplying mirrors for both large and small projects and shops. At LS Lifestyle we are working towards developing a more sustainable business model. In order to help ourselves we are working in the framework of the SDG no 8 and 12. Decent work and economic growth and Responsible consumption and production. Since our main production is located in China we take a lot of action to secure that our products are produced in legal and decent fabrics. We have our own China-office which checks the work conditions and continuously keeps up update. Because we know that we cannot control everything ourselves, we are members of BSCI as well.
In 2020 we started a project about reducing our use of plastic and Styrofoam in our packaging. The goal is to either find more sustainable packaging materials or completely redesign our packaging in order to make it more sustainable and easier to reuse. We are continuously working on this and by every day, we get a little closer to our goals.
